medical writing jobs

Our household income increased in 2008 since both of us worked two jobs and about 70-80hrs a week to keep our student loans and medical bills paid, and try to put a few dollars away for the future. We got shafted since we can’t afford a house or kid yet to write off, anyone else have a similar story? I can’t wait to see how much I’ll get to pay in 2009.

freelance writer job

I’m massively confused and I will admit very ignorant on the subject. In the past I’ve had regular jobs and used 1040ez. but this year I’ve freelanced for one company. I’m getting 1099′d. I earned 11,000. can i use 1040ez? my job is writing related… i know i have many deductions… is it worth it to do that for such a small amount? i tried using 1040ez and the tax owed is incredibly low. not sure if… since it’s all 1099 i’m suppose to be usiing that form or if there’s one seperate for people who get 1099′d. and if i wanted to do deductions what form?

freelance writer jobs

I earn $400/month and live in Boston. I’ve read about making quarterly payments, etc. Also, what percentage (or what amount) will I have to pay at the end of the year?

Does it affect my normal job and what I will have to pay for that? This is just some extra income.
